“As a young adult, I was offered the opportunity to explore & live amongst the Sepik River people of Papua New Guinea. Over time, I became enthralled with the elaborate village ceremonies & the people’s innate ability to transform organic items into mythical art objects & adornments. The spectacular ceremonial jewelry created were designed to impress, each an original statement piece that would only become more striking with time.
Papua New Guinea & it’s people will always be an inspiration to me as a Jewelry Designer. Today Ewa is made up of pieces with distinct raw elements, evoking ancient tribal techniques & celebrating the imperfect qualities of a time past.”
